Top 5 #DietCams of the Quarter

“This meal happened because I had a bunch of fruits at home at the moment and I was looking for a way to eat them, so I made this platter and make smoothies out of it.” – GLADYS
4
“In this plate are steamed peas, diced carrots, and sweetcorn with boiled hake fish in sauce.
On my plan was steamed vegetables with fish/chicken and I decided to go for fish because I prefer it.
The fish was boiled, dried in oven (not fried in oil) and added to sauce.” – IYANUOLUWA

“This meal meant a lot to me because I’ve always loved colorful foods, even though I often gave myself different excuses not to eat that way.
Dieting and weight loss became an avenue for me to express that side of myself. It was also the first time I truly understood portion control especially with carbs and how much vegetables I should be eating.
It felt like a real milestone for me because I finally understood that dieting can be balanced, enjoyable, and still reflect what I genuinely like” – AFIYINFOLUWA
2
“In this plate is amala, boiled mackerel fish (my favourite) okro soup and stew, very delicious and heavenly, I had another round of okro and soup after I finished all in this plate”- IYANUOLUWA

WINNER
“Was a mix of oats and chia seeds. Cooked together with milk and paired with banana, grapes, strawberries, kiwi and cashew nuts. Very filling and nutritious”- IFEDAYO

Diet Tips of the Quarter
- INTENTIONALITY
The first and most important thing for me is intentionality. I am very intentional about my food and I love that for me. I like to prepare my food by myself irrespective of how stressful it is to prepare or how long it takes, I’m only focused on doing it well.
- PLATING
I’m also not keen on just eating, I want my food to be well plated as I derive satisfaction from it. Even before I started my program with FIFE, I’ve always been fond of taking pictures of my food. When you go through my gallery, most of the pictures I have are pictures of my food
- DOCUMENTING MOMENTS
I like to document moments, and my food and food prep are important parts of my documentaries.
- DETERMINATION
It’s not easy to be consistent with diet plans but it’s very possible. When I’m at home, the fact that I am in charge of my food helps me to adhere to the plan. I do get tempted when I go out (maybe on a date or on holiday) but determination keeps me going.
- PLANNING AHEAD
Planning ahead is also an advantage, I look through the plan for a week and shop in advance and by doing that, I’m always on top of getting my food ready
I don’t mind how much I spend to get my food ready, eating and living healthy is my goal, na who get health get everything, without good health, no matter what you have, in reality, you have nothing.

Members' Favorite Routine
Based on popularity view, here is our members’ pick of their favorite workout routine of the quarter.
What makes this particular workout routine so popular is probably because it does the double job of stretching and building muscle, making your body feel the heat of activity as well as the sweet release of knotted tension.

Coach, can I follow the Detox Program while fasting?
Definitely! Fasting can be a big/helpful part of body detoxing. Luckily, one of the beauty of our community quarterly detox program is that we take note of everything relating to your fitness and health and lifestyle, before handing you the Detox plan. Also, we do create supplementary dates for detox classes for those unable to meet up on the main date.
Coach, How can we maintain our results from the BSLDetox Program?
- Stay away from junks/fries/soda/alcohol for the rest of the week.
- Drink more water,
- Purposefully take at least 10 minutes from your busy days to do absolutely nothing, just conscious deep breathing.
- Do more walking/trekking (not under the hot sun though).
- Prepare for the next Community Detox Program (June), and the Community Intensive Program (July)
- But if you can’t wait, then lock in with us on a private program (BFB, BDS or TBT) to get quick results, or upgrade to our community premium (FIFE eGYM)
Enjoy your current progress and stay healthy. Be rest assured we are here to your progress this year.

PERSONALITY OF THE QUARTER: IFEOLUWAYIMIKA TAI- IYIOLA
PERSONALITY OF THE QUARTER
In every fitness community, there’s that one person whose energy is impossible to ignore—not just because of their results, but because of how they show up.
For this quarter, Fit and Feline (FIFE Fitness) shines the spotlight on Ifeoluwayimika, a standout member whose journey reflects what this community is truly about: progress, resilience, and real-life balance.
From showing up on low-energy days to finding joy in the process, Ifeoluwayimika embodies the lifestyle, not just the workouts or diet.
We sat down to get to know the person behind the progress.
MEET IFEOLUWAYIMIKA
Q. Who is Ifeoluwayimika?
A. Hii, I’m Ifeoluwayimika Tai-Iyiola, everyone calls me Yimika or YOK. I’m an Occupational Therapist and I run a business brand also. I’m pretty easy going and I love making genuine connections. I’ve always been a fitness girlie, first born out of being insecure about my body. But I’ve since grown to embrace fitness and healthy living as a lifestyle.
Q. How would your friends describe you in three words?
A. Beautiful. Loving. Intentional.
Q.What’s one thing people in the community would be surprised to learn about you?
A. I lift heavy 😌
Q. Are you a morning workout person or an evening warrior?
A. Morning workouts for home routines, evening champ for gym.
Q. What’s your go-to hype song when you need instant workout energy?
A. I don’t really have one. But if I had to pick, Energy by Greatman Takit would do it for me. Infact, any song of his.
Q. What’s your favorite workout (and the one you secretly try to avoid)?
A. I really enjoy hip thrusts. Bulgarian split squats make me wanna die.
Q. Which diet meal makes you jump with joy (and which makes you scared to enter the kitchen)?
A. Anything with veggies, count me in. I love the burst of colours and prep time. I don’t like making banana-egg pancakes.
Q. If your fitness journey had a movie title, what would it be?
A. Skinny Girl in Transit, a series though.
“FITNESS IS NOT JUST A TARGET, IT IS A LIFESTYLE.”
LIFESTYLE & HABITS
Q. What does your ideal “fit lifestyle day” look like?
A. A good night rest the night before, 3-5km run in the morning, get some good work done through the day, have at least 2 meals and some light snacks and then an evening walk/stretches.
Q. What’s your guilty pleasure that still fits into your lifestyle?
A. chocolate cake
Q. What’s always in your kitchen that keeps you on track?
A. hmmm, I’d say spices. I love to keep my food flavorful.
Q. What’s one habit you’ve built that you’re genuinely proud of?
A. Eating fruits and crops in season
Q. How do you bounce back after a ‘bad’ day?
A. I look in the mirror, see the progress I’ve made and I’m encouraged to get back at it.
Q. What’s your biggest non-scale victory so far? (Something not about weight/measurements)
A. upgrading my wardrobe
COMMUNITY & GROWTH 🌍
Q. Who in the Fit and Feline community inspires you the most?
A. Iyanuoluwa
Q. What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself through your fitness journey so far?
A. I’ve learnt that I can morph and sculpt my body through natural processes.
Q. If someone joined the community today, what’s the first thing you’d tell them?
A. It all compounds in the end. The workouts, the diet, just give it a little bit of time and effort.
Q. If your current self could talk to your old self, what would you say?
A. You really are so beautiful.
Q. Finish this sentence:
A. “Being part of Fit and Feline means _a great deal_ to me.”
Ifeoluwayimika’s story is a reminder that fitness isn’t about extremes; it’s about consistency, identity, and community.
And in the Fit and Feline Fitness family, every step forward counts.

Hot Gist
I met a girl who introduced me to two of her friends so we became 4. I actually don’t make friends easily, but I figured I should change in 2026. That was a big mistake. She created a group and added all of us to the group so we can all communicate, but I was “unfriended” after 2 weeks for being uncool. 😂😂
I was invited to a birthday party which was supposed to take place at night, and I said no because I am not a nightwalker. That was how I was removed from the group for not being a girl’s girl, and called different names. One of them even said not going out at night was the reason I was single because I don’t go out when guys go out. As it is, it is obvious that “new year, new me” is not for me. 😂😂

TIMEOUT with COACH
A little extra knowledge

Obesity is a big problem, not just for body/self-image & confidence, but most importantly for health and normal body functioning.
At times, the case is dire and surgery is done to save the person’s life.
The consequences of surgery for obesity, though… it stays… but it is much preferable to death/dying.
Why does Tammy look like that?
- If you stay fat for long, your skin is stretched to its limit, and loses elasticity and slacks.
- Losing weight drastically (through starving or surgery) will NOT give your skin enough time to heal. In extreme obesity cases, it doesn’t even heal at all.
- Losing fat without putting on muscle is like deflating a balloon. YOU SHRINK, and look SICK.
What can she do to look “normal” again?
- She is definitely placed on medication as she is. She has lost too much fat at once with surgery for there not to be serious health consequences. This medication(s) will keep her organs/muscles functional.
- She will also be placed on a monitored fitness (exercise & diet) routine to gradually build what’s left of her muscles/tissues.
- There definitely would be therapy sessions for the “food noise” she would still have. They probably already performed a gastric sleeve or placed her on an appetite control medication.
- More skin removal surgery? I’m not sure… maybe after a couple of months/year. Her skin is already tender and stretched… the risks of injury/tearing/burns/cancer, etc. is a lot higher. Whatever will be done will be expensive and high risk.
The upside for Tammy is that, I bet she has never felt lighter in her entire life. Her bones can finally breathe and looks aside, she should feel awesome. Her lifespan is increased.
The moral lesson?
- Staying fat/obese has consequences (to skin, to health, to lifespan)
- The fastest way to lose fat, when obese, is slow and steady… you didn’t get fat in one day, you won’t lose it all in one day. Go natural, get active and take it a day at a time, with the primary focus being changes in ‘how you feel’, rather than changes in how you look.
- Seek professional help and find your community. Being tough doesn’t mean doing it alone. You will need professional experience to guide you and positive support from a community that doesn’t judge you.
- Hopefully, technology and medicine advances to the level where the risks and consequences of weightloss surgeries or fast acting pills (GLP 1/Ozempic) is reduced… until then, please go the long, slow, painful but proper way… especially if your life is not already on the line.
With love from your Coach,
TemmyPhil.
